This was so much fun! Fresh local produce, in colors and varieties I have never before seen. Today, I purchase a purple bell pepper, baby red onions with the green shaft still attached, a gorgeous heirloom tomato as big as both my fists, sugar-free kettle corn, bok choy, and Asian cabbage the farmer had just picked yesterday. I was given preparation suggestions for some of the odder items. A lovely woman named Cathy is specially making a salt-free version of her amazing goat cheese just for me! On a more personal note, it was truly lovely to interact with the people who actually grew my vegetables and baked my bread. Also, in a world full of feed-lot meat and tasteless, GMO produce picked too green and shipped too far, it was refreshing to meet the amazing small-hold workers from my own community who are the future of food in America. Check it out, you'll have a blast!

Who is that wonderful person who sells smoked salmon and spreads do you have a # for him?

This is not a true farmers market. There are a few local or colorado sellers, but most of it is retail shops that have imported the products. Way OVER priced. Not impressed!

You will find the most beautiful garlic braids you have ever seen here. I get them for Christmas gifts every year. The garlic is the freshest I have ever had.
