ReviewsI am located in Carthage NC. We are trying to start our own European style market here in our town. Do you have any advice for us that will help us to be a successful market like yours? We are in a rural area and have fresh eggs and meats available to us also, besides the freen market items. We are also looking into having handcrafted artisan/crafters, not manufactured/dealers at this time also! Thanks so much in advance! Lauren Kenefick clankenefick91@hotmail.com 910-722-2222 -- Lauren Kenefick I especially love the local meats you can get there (organic) as well as the eggs and homemade foods that are already cooked. They have both baked goods and main dish offerings. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. -- Wendy Eaton This is a one of a kind market in our area, as it is open year round with many wonderful products. I especially like being able to buy fresh raised in Maine beef and chicken as well as eggs, vegetables and home made cooked food. If you have never stopped by on a Saturday morning you should make it a point to do so. -- Wendy Eaton I shop at the European Farmers' Market on Buck St. in Bangor. They have a great selection of food and crafts. For example they have two bread bakers, two pastry vendors, Mexican and Greek food, delicious homemade ice cream, a vegetable vendor, meat, cheese and eggs. There is sometimes a blueberry vendor and several craftsman. I hope you get a chance to try this market. -- Kathy Chamberlain |
