Located on the Yorktown waterfront between Buckner and Ballard Streets, the Market is free and features fresh produce, meat and seafood; baked goods, gourmet herbs, cut flowers, potted plants, cheese, coffee, live musical entertainment and quality art. The market hosts more than 35 local farmers and vendors throughout the season with a variety of homegrown favorites. The Groupon was for produce. Market wouldn't let me buy produce with my valid Groupon, but offered me the option to use my Groupon to purchase their beat-up furniture and garage-sale "art" items from them with the Groupon. -- Jen Phillips-Holden I really enjoy the Yorktown Farmers Market, and look forward to the remainder of the season. Homemade jams and breads were also great. -- Terri Peterson Very disappointng to find out of season produce and produce and fruits from outside of Virginia being sold there. Unfortunately a few of the vendors do not grow the items they are selling.
